Spiral Hosting INEX connectivity

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

Spiral Hosting, Irelands Fastest WebHost, are delighted to announce our datacenter has been accepted as a new member to INEX (Internet Neutral Exchange).

INEX is a neutral, industry-owned Association, founded in 1996, that provides IP peering facilities from two locations in Dublin.

INEX’s objective to provide high-speed, reliable and resilient IP traffic exchange facilities for both Irish and international IP service and content providers, allowing them to route IP traffic efficiently within Ireland and thereby provide faster, more reliable and lower-latency Internet access for their customers.

Our datacenter, Webworld Ireland, was founded in 1998. As one of Irelands longer established HSPs, it has a custom built network which provides us with some of the fastest connections in Ireland.

Problem with 3rd dns nameserver

Sunday, September 9th, 2007

23:22 We wish to advise customers that our technical team have identified an issue with our 3rd DNS nameserver. Nameservers 1 and 2 are operating as normal, but the problem with nameserver 3 may delay DNS changes (e.g. if you add/remove a parked domain it will take longer than usual). We hope to resolve this problem shortly.

10/09/07 15:40 This problem is now resolved. Thank you for your patience.

Friday, July 13th, 2007

If you have not already, please update your address books to use the new Spiral Hosting emails.
