Spiral Hosting Says ‘NO’ To Price Increase
The price of .com and .net domain name registration will increase on 15th January 2012 — for most other web hosting providers.
Here at Spiral Hosting, we’re doing something that’s very rarely done — we’re freezing .com and .net prices so that you don’t have to pay any more than you do already.
No tricks, no gimmicks.
Just quality savings in the interest of good customer service.
More detail:
Verisign Inc, the operator of the .com/.net registries, has announced that it’s increasing the registry fees for .com domains by $0.56 and for .net domains by $0.46 effective January 15, 2012, in accordance with their agreement with ICANN.
For us, this means we will pay more for .com/.net domains from now on. For you, the prices will remain the same.
It’s worth pointing out that you can save a sizeable chunk of money by registering today with multi-year renewals for your domains. This means that the amount you pay today will not be affected by any potential price rises in the future.
