Be aware of domain name renewal scams
Spiral Hosting Limited has today warned customers of a domain registration scam.
“Domain Renewal SA” has been sending fake emails to some of our customers claiming that their domain names are due for renewal.
The scammers will transfer the domain and its ownership to themselves, forcing customers into paying exorbitent renewal prices.
If any customers believe they have been contacted by this scam, please open a support ticket or phone our 24-hour phone number. It would help if you could forward the emails to us.
We will send our own emails before your domains expire, but customers who wish to know when their domain renewal dates are, can login to our Accounts Area or contact us by email or phone.
