Spiral Hosting has today warned customers of a domain services scam.

Domain Services have been sending email solicitations to many of our customers requesting payments for Search Engine Submission. The emails request payment details are sent to an American fax number for payments of between $75 and $295. The emails may appear to be sent from Hotmail email addresses, but the source is actually a company calling themselves ABC Domains. This is a scam. Customers are advised to disregard the letter.

We are now using an off-site status blog to keep clients updated with any maintenance notices, technical work, network/DNS issues or connectivity problems.
